Returning Home Bodywork
My story
Hi! I’m Erin. A woman on a pilgrimage towards softening.
After nearly a decade of academia, dentistry, and the military, my world was anything but soft. I had adapted to being highly functional under crazy levels of cortisol over the years, and my body had taken the toll. My system and spirit craved slowness, or at the very least, some measure of peace. I felt far from myself, rigid, and like there was a tight jacket constricting my physical body and energetic being.
It was time to return home. To the waters of my body, to the inherent rejuvenation written into the blueprint of this human design. Little by little I learned practices that supported me in this. Breath work, somatic mediation, conventional talk therapy and spiritual coaching. What has moved the needle the most in coming home to myself, however, has been touch. Self massage, traditional massage, Rolfing, and abdominal massage. Tending to my tissues on a regular basis has been the most essential piece of coming home to myself.
Somewhere in the middle of my self-return, I slowly realized I wanted to bring this experience of softening to others. I followed the whispers bit by bit and it lead me to MaSchool, a bodywork school teaching a modality of hands-on work called Womb Continuum care. This care combines principals from Structural Integration (Rolfing) and traditional Mexican abdominal massage. A powerful combination of techniques that opens and softens fascia of the belly, hips, and pelvis, and tends to the abdominal and pelvic organs.
I’m humbled and honored to now offer Womb Continuum Care to you. My greatest intention is to be in service to your own version of returning home.

Womb Continuum Care Sessions
These 90 minute sessions guide you back home to yourself and rejuvenate your body. After tuning into your fascia and nervous system, we gently soften the connective tissue that supports and holds you and your abdomen. I say “we” intentionally, because this is a collaboration between us. Your body responds to your own presence and attention, and while receiving the work, I encourage you to stay with and connect to your body.
Once the outer layers of your belly have softened, we bring Mexican abdominal massage to your organs. This helps to support the gastrointestinal tract by bringing blood flow, lymph flow, and motility to the large and small intestines.
Womb continuum care sessions nourish the nervous system and release long-held tension. This type of bodywork can help ease pain associated with the menstrual cycle, polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis, and even realign a tilted or prolapsed uterus or bladder. You will likely find your constipation easing, your connection to your body deepening, and your overall vibrancy and self-connection reawakening.
This work is especially helpful for women on the pregnancy and postpartum journey. Belly and womb care can be very useful in improving prolapses and softening C-section scars.
Our bellies, organs, and fascia hold stories, memories, and emotions. Bringing presence and holding to these tissues can often give them an opportunity to be felt, which is part of the beauty and magic of this work. I encourage giving yourself time after the session to integrate and move slowly back into your day, as this process can continue to unfold after our time together.

If you imagine a spectrum of care with massage on one end and physical therapy on the other, it's somewhere in the middle. Bodywork is intentional touch for a therapeutic purpose.

The bodywork I practice is a unique blend of techniques from Structural Integration, adapted and taught by Carly Rae Beaudry (Canada), and Mexican abdominal massage, adapted and taught by Andrea Terrones (Mexico). These two powerhouse women collaborated to create and teach MaSchool, where I am currently studying. This is a course that runs through May 2025, and includes 18 months of didactic work online and 200+ hours of in person hands-on training.
